Okamini

Féesalys, founder of the Elf&Sens association, will orchestrate the OKAMINI SPACE for the fifth edition of Okami Festival, accompanied by a team of 5 exceptional and/or professional bénélutins and bénélutines.

Lila, founder of the Tipi des Ados (from 10–11 years old), will for the second year run a space dedicated to pre-teens.

A sparkling program was imagined by Féesalys and her five TurluTupoueTTes: Toums, Marie, Stanislas, Killyan and Charline.

The adventure and values of Elf&Sens are about educational and playful art, where every child will experience an enchanted time of wonder, generosity, love, creativity, togetherness, renewal and caring safety. “Yes yes yes, all of that will be there…”

Children will have the opportunity to dive into big games, discover how to respect and create with nature, learn to play as a team without competition, meet fascinating creatures of nature, take part in rhythmic exploration games and relax in the dragon cave.

Any new feature to delight the most curious?

Ooooh Yeeees: there will be introductory workshops in craft arts (wooden spoon, willow bird nest, musical instruments…) and many other surprises.

Supervision:

The child’s first visit to our enchanted world will be with a parent, so we can record in the “Registration Grimoire” their contact details if needed and any careful consideration (e.g. specific needs). (If you need to discuss this before the festival, you can contact us.)

For smoother, fun communication between parent and child, we suggest bringing Walkie-Talkies. Ground rules will be in place to create a nice atmosphere during workshops for both parents and children.

The space will welcome children aged 3 to 5 with an adult, and from 6 years old children can venture on their own. Each child will receive a handmade bracelet with a specific color code. This bracelet will allow us to let authorized children come and go as they wish, or to stay in the space until their parents come to pick them up.

So that children aged 3 to 11 feel at home, comfortable, having fun and safe within Okamini, workshops will be adapted to mixed age ranges and sometimes limited to a specific age range (this will be noted in the program).

Some activities will be limited in number and require registration (you can register before the festival or on your first day at the Okamini welcome desk).

Every year we follow the festival theme chosen by the organizers. This year we will focus on awareness of “The Middle Way”.

In our very special world we have defined 5 welcoming spaces, adapted to the child’s rhythm:

- The Fantastic Ship:

The Large Structure / Dedicated to Creative and Artistic Workshops

- The Clever Garden:

Dedicated to Sports and Adventure Workshops

- The Dragon Cave:

A small tipi / Dedicated to the Library and Cuddly Toys

- The Little Nest:

The flex yurt / Dedicated to expectant or young parents with baby (0–3 years) to recharge, run talking circles — self-run (first exchange with Féesalys for organization)

- The Tipi des Ados:

Medium tipi tent / Cocooning - Chill - Self-run activities

A free-perie (free second-hand corner) will be set up. If you would like to bring clothes (washed, no holes or stains), accessories and/or toys (avoiding plastic as much as possible), we will be happy to take them to pass on to others or use in our spaces.

Interactive magic show
Paulin, a traveling magician, returns from a long journey with his treasure boxes: the Atebatières. Inside, not a magic wand, but Atebas, colorful braids full of stories and mysterious powers. Through each Atebas, Paulin takes young and old on a world tour blending interactive magic, inspiring stories and shared wonder. 💫 Cards that appear, ropes that repair themselves, collectively braided memories and coincidences... that may not be! A funny, poetic and participatory show, where every emotion becomes a trick, every spectator a bit of a magician, and every Atebas… an invisible link between us all.
